Hosting and server log files
This website is operated by a hosting provider with whom we have concluded a data processing agreement. Whenever a page is accessed, the server automatically stores technical data: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the previously visited page, browser and operating system.
These data are used solely to operate the website securely and reliably and to defend against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest, unless they are needed to investigate a security incident.
Cookies
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, nor any audience measurement services. WordPress sets technically necessary cookies only for logged-in editors. No consent is required for this.
Contact and guided tour requests
If you contact us by email or phone, for example to request a guided tour of the Broken Collection, we process your details (name, contact details, content of your enquiry) in order to respond. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures or of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in responding (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We delete the data once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations require longer storage (for example seven years for invoices under the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code).
Videos from YouTube
On some pages we show videos from YouTube, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The videos are only loaded once you click on the video. Before that, no data are transferred to YouTube.
After your click, the video is loaded in privacy-enhanced mode via youtube-nocookie.com. Google then receives, in particular, your IP address and information about the video played. Google may also transfer data to the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent given by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Further information can be found in Google’s privacy policy.
Links to maps, social networks and share buttons
Route planning (Google Maps), Instagram and the share buttons in our posts (WhatsApp, Facebook, Pinterest, email) are simple links. No data are transferred to these providers when you view our pages. Only when you click such a link does the provider’s page open, and its privacy policy then applies.
Fonts, images and files
Fonts, images, videos, audio files and documents are loaded directly from our server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other external font service.
Wedding website
Weddings at Schloss Loosdorf have their own website with online booking for viewings. A separate privacy policy applies there.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of your data, the right to data portability and the right to object to processing. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. Simply write to us at office@piatti.at.
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Datenschutzbehörde (Data Protection Authority), Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
