On 26 August, the Governor of Saga Prefecture, Mr Yoshinori Yamaguchi, visited Schloss Loosdorf in person. It was a very special visit, as a large part of the porcelain and shard collection comes from Arita (Saga Prefecture). From the 17th century onwards, Arita produced porcelain that was acquired in Europe by the Piatti family.
The Governor toured the museum, and possibilities for future cooperation were discussed in depth.
