On 21 February, all of Lower Austria was a guest at dinner in the residence of Ambassador Mizuuchi. The Governor of Lower Austria, Mag. Johanna Mikl-Leitner, and her husband, Mr Mikl, attended, together with figures from business, culture and town twinning partnerships. The conversation on fostering relations between Japan and Lower Austria was accompanied by a variety of Japanese delicacies, such as sake from Niigata and white wines from Yamanashi as well as from the Traisental in Lower Austria. It ranged far beyond the actual topics and went on late into the evening.
